Back into the groove
My plantar fasciitis injury seems to have a mind of its own. Most days it doesn't cause me too much grief but on other days, even when I am well rested, I can feel the damn thing. It's more a niggle and a pest but I can do without it. I had a good run this mornning - about 7 to 8km of 1 minute fartlek bursts with 45 second recoveries.

I had PF last year and ended up with orthotics after quite a bit of trying other solutions, even sleeping in the big boot the physios gave me. I did find acupuncture helped as well.. hurt like the devil though!
I'll send you a magic spell that will fix that damn injury pronto!
Belated welcome to Team H from another Team H member. I had PF about 8 years ago and was out of action from running for quite a few months. Ended up getting orthotics which helped for a year or so then started developing the same problem with orthotics. So gradually began running without orthotics and haven't worn them since. Haven't had any problems since with PF - touch wood!
Out of all the cures on offer, my money is on LuckyLegs's magic spell ! Hope you get on top of your injury soon TD.
Great to see you are blogging again Don.
When are you up our way again?
What's your next race? Does Tuggeranong Don run the Tuggeranong lunchtime run? (I thought I might travel over there soon) Does Tuggeranong Don run the Vets Half Marathon? (On at the end of the month)
You (and the rest of Team G) have been tagged!
I hope your blog revives soon.
